2005-03-06 - 11:06 p.m.

Wow.
So Friday I went out for FAC with the crew and as we were leaving, I see Ryan. Now this is the guy my friends tried to hook me up with 2 years ago (see what I wrote on 10-21-02) and at the time, it wasn't close to working. So I see him and part of me wanted to just keep walking, but I had a few drinks in me and thought, what the hell, I may as well say hello. Turns out he didn't quite recognize me at first (my hair was blond then) but as soon as I said hi, he knew. So we chat for a few and then I left to go to Patty's (bar across the street). Anyway, I told him I'd be there if he wanted to come by later, and he did. We ended up hanging out the rest of the night and got along really well. There wasn't any awkwardness at all, which I was kinda surprised by. It was his birthday that night, and he hates birthdays, so I think he got extra wasted, at the end of the night, he could barely stand upright. He wanted to leave and wanted me to come with. I told him he could crash at my house, but we had some drunk fun at hy-vee first buying random shit like Gatorade and beef jerky. So we get back to my house and he kept kissing me and stuff, which I didn't overanalyize because he was totally smashed. But he was being super presh and said how there was a reason why he came to Patty's and that he was sorry for being an asshole 2 years ago. So we basically made out and cuddled all night, which was great. (he's super hot btw)
The next morning, I was kinda nervous about because I didn't know what he would think. Much to my happiness though, he woke up, looked at me, smiled and kissed me. (good sign!!) So I'm thinking because he was still affectionate the morning after that he had a good time and wasn't like 'what the hell did I do'. We hung out and talked for a while and then I took him home. We didn't exchange #s or anything, but as he left, he smiled, kissed me and said that he knows where to find me now. So yeah, I don't really know what's going to happen, but we did click on a level that we didn't before. I do think that things work out and don't work out for a reason. Who knows... but I kinda have my fingers crossed though. :)
