2005-02-15 - 10:19 p.m.

Wow, ok long time without an update. Sadly, there isn't a whole lot going on right now. I do have new "men" to speak of though. Adam is still in IC, and when we go out and get drunk, he's super affectionate, but sober he avoids me like the plague. I sent him a card for V-day, and he called to say thanks. I guess he was going to send me one, but he knows I loathe v-day and thought it would be contrived to send one. Whatever, I'm kind of over him. (Sadly, until he comes back for a visit, then my bad-ass-ness is down the drain)
There is this amazingly gorgeous guy in my Biochem class. I'm going to call him Dr. Hot. I scoped him out the first day and I wanted to say hi, but he's always buried in his book. But a few weeks ago, he had a super cute hat on and sat by me, so I complimented him on it. We chatted it up and now he sits next to me. I wasn't sure what I thought of him. He has some HUGE pros, like he's beautiful, applying to med schools (hence the nickname), so he's smart, he's super sarcastic and makes me laugh. On the other hand, he may be kind of a dick. So V-day was Monday and I decided to buy him a cheesy v-day cookie (It was 75 cents). Turns out I wasn't the only one thinking about cookies, because I sit down and he says he has a present for me. He pulls out a baggie of red chocolate chip cookies. He freaking made me cookies!!! How fucking sweet is that?! I tried not to overexaggerate how incredibly happy I was though, so I tried to play it cool. He totally doesn't seem like the cookie-baking type, but I guess I misjudged that one. I don't want to eat them though, just so I can look at them and think about how sweet that was. :) He has an interview at a med school in Milwaukee on Friday and I was thinking about writing him a short "good luck" note. Is that corny? I would keep it limited to 3 sentences. I don't know.
I had a super long day today. A few of us on Student government went to the Capitol to lobby for this new tution proposal. I had to meet with all these Reps and senators, which was cool since I know 2 of them on a first name basis, but it was exhausting. We got back at like 5 and I definitely slept until 10. Oops.
Anyway, that's my news. Exciting shit, huh? :)
