2004-09-10 - 3:32 p.m. SO much as happened since I've last updated this thing, I feel the need to itemize!!! Most Important, Guy update: I went to the bar on Tuesday with Mike and Dustin and noticed that a guy who I had my stats class with last semester was there. Now this guy (we'll call him Adam) is totally GORGEOUS. He looks like the clone of Johnny Depp, dark hair and eyes, goatee thing and all. I went over, said hello and ended up talking to him the whole rest of the night. He's amazing. Not only is he hot, he's super smart (like chem engineering, biology double major with a stats minor) and seems to be an all around nice guy. The only downside is that he's kinda old (28) and he smokes. But, like Johnny Depp, he doesn't look old and somehow makes smoking look totally sexy. Anyway, we exchanged #s and he called last night. We went out again to the same bar and it turns out that he's a long relationship kind of guy. He was with a girl for 5 years and anothe for 6. Damn. No kids or anything, but really wants them. He's been single for like 6 months or something like that. So they do last call and I still wanted to hang out with him, so I invite him back for drinks. We end up talking (yes, only talking... ok well we kissed too) until 4:30am. Then we fell asleep together. It was totally wonderful. He woke me up for my 9:00 class and said he wanted to see me all weekend. I think this has the possiblity of being something more than just a few nights together. Which is something I'm totally ready for and have wanted for some time. School update: I get to be more and more of a nerd every year. I'm a TA for Micro 201, and intro to micro course. I have 130 little students and will be spending most of this weekend (besides working) grading their papers. Its actually really fun. I have also been "elected" to the College of Agriculture Student Council. Which I didn't think was such a big deal until I went to the meeting. Yep, we have to wear suits and its super formal. I feel uber important, so I guess its a good power trip. I had to go to Staples and buy one of those leather planner/binder things. God I'm getting old, I'm a TA and I carry a "briefcase". Michael update: Things are good, we seem to get along better now for some reason. He has a Lance Armstrong bracelet and I was telling him how I wanted one but can't find them anywhere. He apparently has extras and gave me his. How sweet. I wear his bracelet for a week and decide that I'm WAY too attached to it, because everytime I look at it I think about him. So when I was home for labor day I gave it away to my mom. I wish I hadn't, but it was really hard to wear it and not think about him. It was too big anyway. :) I just need to hunt down my own. Let's see... that seems to be about it for now. I'm sure I'll be updating after this weekend!! ;)
