2004-06-27 - 12:42 p.m. Its Sunday and I'm at work. I worked yesterday too, I have no life. I am boring and I wish I was on a real vacation this summer. I can't complain too much though because I'm getting paid overtime and weekend salary. Cha-ching! :) I really haven't done anything terribly exciting lately. Jen Curtis called me and she's 45 min north of here training for a job she got in Kansas. WE went out last weekend and it was pretty fun. We went to this Italian restaurant for dinner and had a HOT waiter, so we asked him for a fun bar to go to and he recommended this bar called Strangebrew. He apparently goes there every weekend. Before we left, (I was feeling extra ballsy) I left him a "hope to see you later" note and my digits. It took us forever to find this little bar, but it was really cool there. They have 40 beers on tap and a blues band. I never saw the hot waiter, but come to find out later, there were 2 floors to that place, so he very well could have been in the basement. I was too drunk to notice anyway even if he was there. Watching the red sox play in a bar is a great time. Everyone is crowding around the tv's and shouting when something good/bad happens. They get pretty rowdy around here, but its damn funny. Last summer I had a dream about one of the guys here, and I believe I wrote about it in here. Anyway, he's been hinting at the fact that he wants to have sex for real. ( I told him about my dream a few days ago, jsut for fun) I think it would be a great time and everything, BUT he has a fiancee. :( Considering that homewrecker isn't on my resume anymore, I doubt that anything would happen. Although it is mighty tempting.... No. nothing will happen, I do have self control. I have decided that I will talk to my hot contractor man at lunch sometime this week. I was behind him in line on Friday and behind me were 2 girls. One we call "too much makeup girl" and the other is "kinky hair girl". Well too much makeup girl was saying to kinky hair girl that she needs to talk to the hot guy in front of them, blah blah blah. So I seem to have some competition. If you could even call it that because she is not cute at all. But, it has pushed me to quit being shy, (because I'm not shy normally) and just talk to the guy. I just dont' really know what I should say, because I dont' want to just say hi and that be it, I want to maybe have lunch with him and get to know him, and go out with him, and have sex.... I mean, read a book with him. :) I'm trying to think of something to say that would trigger a long conversation. No ideas yet, and any anyone could think of would be greatly appreciated. :) Well, I think I've wasted enough time rambling about nothing. ps- the fam leaves tomorrow for over 3 weeks!!! :) I'm getting the Lexus!
