2004-05-17 - 9:58 p.m. Long time no updates, I know. I have talked to my stalker, and he understands that I dont want to be anything more than friends. He was cool with it and we talk every now and then. Patrick and I hardly talk at all anymore, and I've gotten over it. He really is such a wonderful person, but not the one for me in the long run. The things he didn't want to do (like get married and have kids) are the things I do, so you have to let things go sometimes. On a happy note, Michael and I are hanging out and talking more outside of work. We went to the bars last week and back to his place to watch the Timberwolves play. Now I know I say I love everyone I meet, but seriously, I am completely nuts about him, and have been for almost a year! He is everything I would want in a guy and I could go on and on about him. I updated my picture website (www.picturetrail.com/mariep2282) with some work pictures, so you can see how cute we are together. :) We've talked about why he's still single and stuff, and he's just not ready for the "drama". :) But I do feel that he does feel something for me just by the way he is when we're together, and even when we're not. Jen (my boss) tells me all the time that when I'm not working, he's in a pissy mood and just not himself. I am the same way when he's not there either. In fact, work just sucks without him there. Good lord, I can't even put into words how much I love being with him. He is the main reason why I will miss this place when I'm gone for the summer. Anyhoo, school's done and I barely survived. I think I may be going for 4 1/2 years. Which SUCKS, but what can you do? Nothing else is new really, I'm going home Friday and leaving for Boston on the 25th. I've been keeping in touch with everyone there and I'm excited (mostly) to be back to my other "home". My grandpa is doing okay. He's not in the hospital anymore and is getting radiation and chemo treatments. Its a day-to-day thing with him. I talked to him last week and he sounded in good spirits. Went out with Pfautz and Amanda Friday night to the bars, which was pretty fun. They left early and I hung out with some people I knew there. I got kinda wasted and drove home. Oops. But my good karma deed that morning (driving 2 ghetto pregnant ladies home from the mall) paid off and I got home safely. So that's about it. My exciting life, I know. Some person, who will remain nameless, out across the ocean is having WAY more fun than I am. :) Well, I'll be sure to update again soon.
