2004-04-19 - 8:26 p.m. Wow, seriously slacking on the whole diary thing, sorry about that. Well, let's see... Patrick and I decided that things weren't working and are no longer together. I'm really bummed about it because its only because of distance, not anything that one of us did, or that we didn't get along. I really had hoped that things would work, but I think its best that we were smart and called things off early, rather than trying to make things work and ending up hating each other. It does suck ass pretty bad though, because as hard as the past 6 months have been, its the happiest I've been in a long long time. On the flip side, I officially have a stalker. I had him for a TA like 2 years ago. He was married and had a baby, and like 3 weeks ago emailed me out of the blue about how they were splitting up and whatnot. So I email him back and agree to meet with him to talk about things and try to help. BAD idea. He now calls me all the time and has sent me flowers every day. Even stops by when I'm working and delivers some personally. Now I'm really not used to someone doting over me like this and its really creeping me out. I told him I was working late tonight so I didn't have to see him. He's def borderline psychotic, but I think just uber lonely. The worst part is I don't really like him at all, I'm not attracted to him and he's really weird and totally not my type. The situations I get myself into, I swear... If anyone hasn't watched CNN lately, there was a great riot this weekend here. Yay for VEISHEA, the weekend where everyone goes out and gets wasted to "celebrate" the university. Well, things got way out of hand and people were throwing bricks at windows, setting things on fire, knocking down streetlights and just going nuts. The cops came and tear gassed people and arrested lots of them. It was pretty insane, and def on CNN headline news the next day. Damn they're quick! :) Well, that's about it for now. I'm sure I'll get myself into some other predicament that I'll have to share soon. Peace out.
