2004-03-14 - 12:40 p.m. Woah, serious drama last night at work... So there was a wedding last night and everyone was totally trashed. We decided to do last call at midnight so people could sober up before they drove home. Well apparently the groom wasn't too happy about it and totally freaked out. He was yelling at Jen (my boss), calling her a bitch and saying how he wanted to beat her ass, etc. This guy completely lost it. He was shaking and just screaming at her. Several of his groomsmen had to hold him back to keep him from hitting her. I was standing next to her and the other groomsmen started shit with Kyle, the other bartender working since Michael was in vacation. He was all up in Kyle's face, saying how he wanted to kill him and shit like that. It was unreal. We ended up calling the owner of the restaurant and the cops too. They came and broke everything up, and they were totally cool. The groom must have touched the cop and he said something like "you're drunk and don't EVER touch me again". The groom was saying how he was going to take us to court and sue us. Whatever. It was just totally nuts and I'm glad Michael wasn't there because if anyone got in his face, he would have decked them. I did call him on my way home and left a message about it. It was damn scary. Anyway, I have a whole 3 days off for spring break, so I'm going home. Yay!! :)
