2003-12-23 - 3:33 p.m. Ah, another few weeks in Boston. The flight was good, I got lucky and didn't have to sit next to any smelly people or anyone who coughed the whole time. Although when I got into Boston, I had to wait an hour to get my luggage. Work is going well so far. I have a lot of stuff to keep me busy, so that's good. I saw Ted yesterday for the first time in 7 months, and it sucked. I started to get really anxious when I knew he was here, and felt like I was going to be sick. He walked past me and we both did the half-wave thing, and kept walking. I really didn't even look at him. Today wasn't much better. He was in the hall and muttered something about me causing trouble and I just kind of did the uh-huh thing. I don't know. I'm just trying to not want to kick his ass. Its hard when his face looks so smackable. On the plus side, his ex (that is now in my group) and I get along really well. She's really cool and we both share a common thread. So at least that is better. Eric, my other crush from here is out for 2 weeks, and I'm sitting in his cubicle. I'm thinking about decorating it with pink streamers and covering his chair with pink fur, just for fun. I think he'd be pissed, but think it was funny at the same time. He would expect that from me. :) Now is a good time to update on the man situation. First there's Adam, a super hot guy that my mom hooked me up with. We went out Saturday before I left and hit it off really well. I gave him my number, but we'll see. Then there's Patrick. He lives in Virginia and works for the Pentagon. We've emailed and IM'ed back and forth for the past month or so, and we've been talking on the phone nearly every day. He wants to come visit too, but again, I'm not holding my breath. He's really nice though and cute. Well, I need to do some real work. I'll update soon.
