2003-12-01 - 11:14 p.m. This past week was pretty damn fun. It was great to see everyone again, and we had some good times. Ate a lot, drank more. Fun fun. Work this weekend sucked. The wedding Saturday night was an old guy and his new trophy wife who got really drunk and her fake eyelashes were falling off by the end of the night. Tips were decent. Sunday sucked because it was a university sponsored event, so no alcohol and the pop was paid for, so no tips for me. I made $4. Major shock tonight....Ted called. Wow huh? Totally out of the blue. He hasn't called (first) for like 2 months. He was in a good mood too, and sounded happy to talk to me. That's good. He asked me what I had planned and was being cute about the fact that he didn't have anything planned either. I don't know. I just have a feeling that things will be quite different when I'm there. We'll see. Today is World AIDS Day. It has become a world wide pandemic. Over 46 MILLION people have it, and 6000 contract it per day. Over 60 children die per hour. Cases in the US have gone up over 5% and most of them are young women. Scary scary. Be smart and protect yourself.
